Wayne Gallman

If you watched the game Saturday, you got to see a heavy dose of this workhorse before the afternoon came to a close. Gallman rushed the ball 14 times for a total of 92 yards and two touchdowns Saturday. He was the balancing force to the Clemson offense in order to keep the Wofford defense honest in guarding both the run and the pass game. Gallman ran the ball hard and although he did break off “the big run,” he did his job, averaging over 6.5 yards per carry.

Wayne Gallman showed some bursts of power, which I believe is going to be extremely important and instrumental in the Clemson offense this season. He was able to pick up the 3rd down and short-yardage situations with ease and the Clemson offensive line did a great job opening up holes for him and pushing the opposing defensive line backwards.
