Trevion Thompson

Trevion Thompson took the Clemson world by storm when Head Coach Dabo Swinney told the media that Thompson was the most impressive receiver of camp a week into practices. Many believed it was just “coach-speak,” but now Thompson is listed as the backup behind Mike Williams. He is set to make a huge impact at wide receiver this season and that begins against Wofford.

I am most intrigued to see how Trevion Thompson fares out of all the wide receivers this Saturday. He was an afterthought coming into the 2015 season, but now is at the forefront of the Clemson wide receiver group. He will play a ton of snaps this season and, after watching his film, I have come to the conclusion that this young man is very talented and fast. He has the ability to play the boundary position very well and will make a difference this season.

Keep your eye on Trevion Thompson. This guy is the unforgotten man of the wide receivers and he is using that motivation to become one of the best on the team.
