11. Wofford Terriers

The next-to-last hardest game for Clemson will be when they play Wofford. The Terriers present more of a challenge than Wake Forest does in several senses. Firstly, this is the season-opener for Clemson. The Tigers will be trying a whole-new defensive line and several new starters on the offense. Clemson will not have the continuity they will have come November.

Another reason the Terriers could present a challenge with a unique-style of offense. The Terriers run a wishbone-flex kind of offense that can be difficult to stop. This will get Clemson prepared for later in the season when they meet the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, hopefully Clemson’s experienced veterans will step up and put a stop to the Terriers early to get the season off to a great start.
