For the first time in Vic Beasley’s career, the NC State Wolfpack actually did a fairly decent job of containing him. In Clemson’s last two meetings with NC State, Beasley finished with three sacks and a forced fumble in each game.

But the Wolfpack couldn’t cage the beast all day. Beasley eventually broke free and did this to Jacoby Brissett:

Beasley tied the Clemson record for career sacks on that play, while also recording a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown. It couldn’t have been more fitting that the Wolfpack were the team to give up Beasley’s historic 28th career sack.
