Deshaun Watson – QB

After the UNC game, I argued that Deshaun Watson could be in the Heisman discussion at some point this season. Against NC State, he strengthened that argument with another excellent performance that earned him his second-straight ACC Offensive Back of the Week award and third straight Freshman of the Week award.

Offensive coordinator Chad Morris dialed up a few more designed runs for Watson this week, so not only did Watson pass for 267 yards and two touchdowns on 17-for-29 passing, he also contributed 62 net yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Watson led the all players (Wolfpack included) in both categories.
