No. 1 Florida State Seminoles

There is very little to say about the ‘Noles that isn’t already common knowledge among college football fans.

They are the consensus favorite to win the ACC and a near-consensus pick to win the national championship in 2014. The reasons are obvious. They return a Heisman-winning quarterback. Their veteran offensive line should be one of the best in the country. They have a talented stable of running backs. Their defense is loaded with talent and speed.

They may not dominate the rest of the league quite as easily as they did last year, but they won’t have to. Even a step back could result in an undefeated record and an appearance in the College Football Playoff, given how easily the ‘Noles rolled through every opponent they faced last year.

The scary part, of course, is that they could be even better in 2014.
