No. 6 Boston College Eagles

Like Wake Forest, Boston College looks to have a significant rebuilding effort on their hands this season. Unlike the Demon Deacons though, Eagles fans know now that they have a coach who is capable of taking on a rebuilding project at this level of college football.

For one thing, when Steve Addazio arrived at BC last year, people thought he would find an empty cupboard. Then Andre Williams ended up becoming a finalist for the Heisman, after leading the nation in rushing yards. The lesson here is that if there is talent on the roster, Addazio will find it. Of all the teams projected near the bottom of the ACC, Boston College might have the best chance to surprise some people, particularly with Florida Gators transfer Tyler Murphy now eligible.
