Clemson football linebacker/safety Isaiah Simmons is one of the top prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft. Here’s a look at his five most likely NFL destinations.

The Clemson football faithful will have their eyes on Isaiah Simmons when the 2020 NFL Draft gets underway in less than a couple of months.

Simmons enters the NFL Combine as one of the biggest gems and intriguing prospects in the class and he’ll be looking to prove his versatility, athleticism and physicality yet again in front of NFL scouts and organizations.

From all accounts, Simmons is considered a top-10 draft pick and there’s no questioning that he has the opportunity to increase his draft stock with a successful spring.

As we head into draft season, here’s a look at the five most likely NFL organizations for the Clemson football product to land.

5. New York Giants

The New York Giants currently have the No. 4 overall pick in the draft and there’s a differentiation among experts as to what the Giants will do.

Much of that, honestly, may have to do with what the Detroit Lions (No. 3) do ahead of them. The Giants have been linked to some of the top offensive tackle prospects [Mekhi Becton, Jedrick Wills Jr., Andrew Thomas] and have also been linked to defensive prospects like Simmons and Ohio State CB Jeffrey Okudah.

The Giants clearly need defensive help and would benefit greatly from having a player of Simmons’ caliber in that secondary.

The question with New York, though, is if their desire to get a lock-down CB like Okudah over the prospect of getting a versatile defensive play-maker like Simmons.
