The Clemson Tigers (3-0) will take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (1-2) in Atlanta Saturday in what will be the Tigers’ first conference game of the season.

The Tigers opened up the season with a win at home against Furman before traveling to Texas A&M and squeaking out a 28-26 win in College Station. They followed that up with a win over Georgia Southern back home in Death Valley.

Now, the Dabo Swinney-led team will begin conference play with their eyes set on a fourth-straight ACC title, but it will all start with the trip to Atlanta.

Analysis:

In my opinion, the Tigers should be the clear favorite coming into this one. Clemson is clearly the better team on both sides of the ball and has more depth.

The Tigers have players that are experienced against that Tech option attack and know how to deal with it. Dabo Swinney and his staff have done an excellent job preparing their defenses in the past for this Paul Johnson attack and this year will be no different.

How much the Tigers win by will be up to the offense. Kelly Bryant, Trevor Lawrence and Co. will need to get the offense going and take advantage of some of Georgia Tech’s weaknesses.

Next. Tiger fans pick Trevor Lawrence as QB. dark
