In a recent interview with Aaron Cheslock of Fox Carolina, South Carolina quarterback, Jake Bentley stated, “at the end of the game, everyone knew they (Clemson) weren’t that much better than us, or better than us at all.”

After hearing that statement, incoming Clemson freshman Amari Rodgers tweeted the following.

Keisean Nixon signed with South Carolina back in December of 2016. Nixon a former Arizona Western College star, responded to Rodgers in the following tweet.

That’s when Deshaun Watson felt the need to chime in.

Again, Nixon fired back with a graphic illustrating the Gamecocks run of dominance from 2009-2013.

Watson, as always, put the nail in the coffin with the following graphic of his own.

Nixon finally conceded saying, “you win man”. At the end of the day it was all in good fun, there is nothing like a healthy rivalry in the world of college football. Clemson vs South Carolina has not been as competitive in recent years, however, Will Muschamp is working to turn things around in Columbia.
