There are many reasons to worry about Clemson’s match-up with UNC in the ACC Championship Game. Here are five reasons for Clemson football fans not to fret about Saturday’s game.

There are many reasons to be worried if you’re a Clemson football fan heading into ACC Championship week. The Tar Heels are playing confident football and are one of the hottest teams in the country. Clemson, on the other hand, has “struggled” with teams like Syracuse, Wake Forest, and South Carolina the last three weeks.

The Tigers gave up 32 points to the Gamecocks and everyone knows that North Carolina’s high-powered offense is much more capable than that of the South Carolina offense. Many Clemson football fans have even told me they could see the Tigers being blown out on Saturday.

Really?

I’ve been covering this team all season and obviously North Carolina is a great team. I know they have made mistakes. I know they have turned the ball over numerous amounts of times and the defense is reeling. I know that the Tigers are not playing their best brand of football and I also know that a North Carolina upset is possible. However, that’s the key word: upset.

If North Carolina wins on Saturday, it will be an upset. The Tigers are the more talented team and have played well all season and to discredit them going into the ACC Championship Game would be a terrible thing to do.

I’m not dumb. I know the Tar Heels are a very good team, but I believe Clemson football fans are worrying a bit too much over this game. We’ve gone over and heard the reasons to be concerned, but here are five reasons that Clemson football fans should not forget heading into this game.
