The 2015 Clemson football season started off with a bang when the Tigers defeated Wofford 49-10. Check out the players of the game from Saturday’s win.

The Clemson football team started off their season in impressive fashion when they defeated the Wofford Terriers 49-10 in a successful first day in Death Valley. Many players got on the field and lots of guys got an opportunity to show what they are capable of doing. They were a select few, however, that stood out among the rest and we want to honor these guys by deeming them the “Players of the Game.”

The criteria for choosing a Clemson football player of the game includes how the player performed on the field, as well as what impact they had on the game in certain circumstances of the game. For instance, a player may only have two catches, but if one of those were in the fourth quarter for the game-winning touchdown, they automatically propel themselves into talks of being the “Player of the Game.”

Throughout the season, I will try to keep this spread even between offensive and defensive players to give a good balance to the team as the year progresses. Here is, without further ado, the players of the game for the Clemson vs. Wofford game. Just a disclaimer, these players are in no particular order, except the last one is the “Player of the Game.”
