Draft season is back, and if you bleed orange like I do, you already know what the rest of the country is just now figuring out: Clemson’s pipeline to the NFL is alive and thriving. The latest projections out of Bristol just put a national spotlight on what we see every fall—elite, homegrown talent from the Upstate, built to shine on Sundays.

ESPN’s Matt Miller just released his latest seven-round 2026 NFL mock draft, and it reads like a roll call of Tiger legends in the making. From the big boys in the trenches to the playmakers on the edge, eight Clemson standouts are set to hear their names called. And leading the charge? A defensive monster who’s about to make Chicago his new hunting ground.

The Next Great Interior Force

Peter Woods sits at the top of the list—the same Peter Woods who’s been a one-man wrecking crew for our defensive front. Miller keeps him in the first round, pegged at No. 25 to the Bears. Let the national talking heads nitpick his stats all they want. We’ve watched him swallow double-teams and erase running lanes every single Saturday in Death Valley.

“Woods didn’t live up to his potential at Clemson, but scouts believe that he’ll be a better pro than college player,” Miller noted. “His physical tools are special, with first-step burst and overall strength that look like a high-end 3-technique starter. Woods could serve as Grady Jarrett’s understudy before taking a larger role in the future.”

If the NFL wants to call Woods a "better pro," that’s their business. Around here, we know he’s a first-rounder through and through.

Reliability in the Second Round

The Tiger train keeps rolling on Day 2. T.J. Parker is headed to the Bucs at No. 46, according to Miller. Maybe he slipped a bit from those early first-round whispers, but anyone who’s watched his tape knows he’s the definition of steady and reliable.

“The 6-foot-4, 263-pound Parker has length and strength at the point of attack,” Miller said. “He might never be a double-digit sack player, but Parker is consistently solid on tape.”

Eight picks after Parker, the Eagles are set to grab Antonio Williams at No. 54. If you need a receiver who’s ready to play on Sundays, Williams is your guy. 208 catches, 21 touchdowns—those numbers don’t just happen. Philly would be lucky to have a Tiger with hands that dependable.

Depth Across the Board

Clemson’s name keeps popping up deep into the draft, which just proves what Dabo’s built here: development over hype, every time. DeMonte Capehart is slotted for the Lions in the fourth, and Adam Randall’s toughness has the Dolphins eyeing him in the fifth.

Maybe the most exciting projection is Cade Klubnik to the Cowboys at No. 180. We’ve watched Cade grow up in orange, leading this team with heart and toughness. Dallas is a big stage, and it’s the perfect fit for a guy with his drive and leadership.

The only small concern? Terrell tweaked his hamstring during a scout workout this week. Here’s hoping he’s back to full speed before draft day—Tiger Nation is rooting for him.

Let the so-called experts say what they want about this class not having a top-10 superstar. We see eight Tigers ready to make noise at the next level. In Tiger Town, we don’t just chase stars—we build NFL legacies.
