In a must-win game to snap a two-game skid, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw what one analyst called "one of the worst picks one could imagine" in the end zone, killing a drive and fueling a sluggish first half that saw Jacksonville enter the locker room with just three points.
And yet, when the game was on the line, he was the one who sealed it.
Lawrence finished his day with a pedestrian 220 passing yards, but it was his legs and his grit that clawed out a 30-29 overtime win against the Raiders. The quarterback ran the ball nine times for 24 yards and two crucial touchdowns, including the game-winning goal-line vault in OT.
The Good News: He's Not Alone
The Jaguars' offense, which looked broken during their losing streak, finally got back to its identity. Jacksonville re-established the ground game, pounding the Raiders for 151 total rushing yards. Travis Etienne Jr. led the way, churning out 84 yards on 22 carries, giving Lawrence the support he's been missing.

Lawrence's gritty, up-and-down performance only earned him a one-spot bump on most national QB power rankings, but it was who he passed that matters.
With his win, Lawrence vaulted over Houston's C.J. Stroud, who suffered a concussion in the Texans' loss to Denver.
