CBS Sports analyst Pete Prisco just dropped his list of the NFL’s elite, and it’s no shock to anyone in Tiger Nation: Clemson’s fingerprints are all over the top 100. Three Tiger legends made the cut, proving once again what every Clemson fan already knows.
Clemson is the gold standard for NFL greatness. This trio is not just representing the Paw—they’re about to turn the AFC North into a Tiger stronghold, with a generational quarterback and two game-breaking playmakers ready to show the world what it means to be built by Death Valley.
At number 65, leading the Clemson charge, is none other than Trevor Lawrence. The golden-armed Tiger is now the face of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Last season, Trevor didn’t just take a step forward. He exploded onto the national scene, putting up video game numbers and carrying the Jags to an AFC South crown. Over 4,000 passing yards, 29 touchdowns through the air, and nine more with his legs. Lawrence brought the same magic to Jacksonville that made him a legend in orange. With a new contract and all the momentum in the world, every Tiger fan knows he’s just getting started.
“He finally flashed the star power in 2025 that many expected when he was the first overall pick in 2021,” Prisco wrote. “Lawrence finished fifth in the MVP voting, but didn’t really get going until Week 8 as he learned yet another new offense.”
Coming in at number 89 is Tee Higgins. Even after missing games last season, Higgins hauled in 59 catches for 846 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns, earning his first Pro Bowl and proving he’s one of the league’s most dangerous weapons. He might share the field with Ja’Marr Chase, but make no mistake. Tee has true WR1 chops, and the Bengals know it. They locked him down for four more years, making sure that Tiger toughness and big-play swagger stay at the heart of their offense.
And at number 91, Dexter Lawrence is making his presence felt. Lawrence racked up three straight Pro Bowl selections from 2022 to 2024 and earned All-Pro honors in both 2022 and 2023. He became the first Giants player to earn three straight Pro Bowls since Landon Collins from 2016 to 2018. If not for a season-ending elbow injury in 2024, there’s no doubt he would have been in the running for a third consecutive All-Pro nod.
