With the Tigers gearing up for another ACC title chase, the league just put the spotlight right where it belongs—on the Orange and Regalia and the stars driving Clemson softball’s rise.

Wednesday brought more good news for Tiger Nation: junior ace Sierra Maness, sophomore slugger Taylor Pipkins, and freshman sensation Sarah Breaux all landed All-ACC honors after putting together unforgettable 2026 seasons. These three are the latest proof that Clemson’s softball tradition is growing stronger by the year—20 All-ACC players in just seven seasons, and counting.

The Ace and the MVP

Sierra Maness, the pride of Woodruff, anchored the Tigers’ rotation all year and earned her spot on the All-ACC Third Team. She was the definition of steady in the circle, racking up a 3.92 ERA and six wins. When the lights were brightest, Maness rose to the occasion—taking down top-25 squads like Virginia Tech and Virginia, and spinning an eight-strikeout masterpiece at Pitt when Clemson needed it most.

Taylor Pipkins, already a legend in Tiger Town after her MVP heroics last spring, showed she’s just getting started. The sophomore slugger hammered ACC pitching for a .311 average and a team-best .756 slugging percentage. But it was her jaw-dropping five-game home run streak in April—best in the nation—that had Clemson fans buzzing and proved Pipkins is a force to be reckoned with.

The Freshman Phenom

And then there’s Sarah Breaux, the freshman from Miami Springs who played like a seasoned vet all spring. She led the Tigers in conference homers with seven and had her coming-out party against Virginia, launching two bombs and driving in four runs. Breaux showed she’s got that Tiger clutch gene—the kind you need to win big in the ACC.

Postseason Push Begins Now

Talk about perfect timing. With the Tigers (13-11 ACC) rolling into Charlottesville for the start of the 2026 ACC Championship, they’ll open as the No. 7 seed in a first-round battle with the 10th-seeded Tar Heels. It’s win-or-go-home time, and Clemson is ready.

With fresh hardware and a roster stacked with All-ACC talent, the Tigers have all the momentum they need for a deep postseason run. The march to the trophy begins at 5 p.m. on ACC Network—don’t miss it, Tiger fans.
