We are fully submerged into official visit season and while it's a week away from wrapping up for the summer, Clemson football may be on the verge of landing a top defensive end target.

After visiting Clemson on May 30, Dre Quinn received a crystal ball to end up with the Tigers but another prediction just a couple of days ago had him landing at Texas.

Neither prediction was placed with a ton of confidence, so it could be a toss-up entering decision day.

When is decision day, you ask? Well, it was unknown until Quinn announced on Tuesday afternoon that he would be making his college decision on June 19 between Clemson, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas. An elite group to choose from and all feel like they have a legit shot.

Quinn's Clemson crystal ball has to give Tiger fans hope, but Texas received one just a few days later and shortly after his visit to Austin. I would say this is probably a two-team race for the four-star edge rusher from Buford, Ga., but you can't count out the big dogs like Notre Dame, Georgia, and Tennessee. I'd be shocked if he chose Georgia Tech considering the caliber of the other finalists.

Clemson hosted him over the first official weekend of the summer which made a strong impression on him, but Texas has come on strong. He also made it to Georgia on June 6 and checked out Georgia Tech back in April.

Quinn is ranked the No. 263 overall recruit in the 2026 class and he's the No. 26 edge rusher.

Clemson will be on commit watch on Thursday afternoon as he's set to announce around noon ET.
