As a run on running backs took place during Day 4 of the 2024 NFL Draft, Will Shipley found his new home with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Shipley was selected as the 127th overall pick and just the fourth running back to be drafted overall.

Over three seasons with the Tigers, Shipley amassed a stunning 2,748 yards and 31 touchdowns on the ground.

He is a dynamic and versatile running back and should be able to transform himself into a shifty player in the NFL.

Shipley, also known for his sure hands and impressive catching abilities, contributed 602 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns through the air for Clemson.

Shipley was just the third former Tiger to be drafted so far. Ahead of him, cornerback Nate Wiggins and defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro were drafted over the first two days.

In Philadelphia, Shipley will be joining (future Hall of Famer) Saquon Barkley who was traded to the Eagles from the New York Giants earlier this off season.

Tyrion Davis-Price, Kenneth Gainwell, and Lew Nichols round out the running back room in Philly.

Most recently, the Eagles won Super Bowl LII in 2017, the franchise's first-ever Super Bowl victory and first championship win since 1960.

Shipley will be taking the field with stars like Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith. Sadly, he won't have (another future Hall of Famer) Jason Kelce blocking for him up the center.
