When will Clemson Football play their 2024 spring game?

Spring Game season begins this Sunday.

You didn’t read that wrong. It isn’t even March yet, but the Hawaii Warriors will hold their spring game this Sunday. They began practices at the end of January. Spring is relative to where you live, after all.

Spring in Clemson, South Carolina comes a little later on the calendar but it isn’t far away. Clemson Football starts its spring practices on Wednesday, February 28th. They will be able to hold fifteen practice sessions between then and the culmination of the spring camp with the annual Orange and White Spring Game on Saturday, April 6th. It is open to the public free of charge.

We haven’t heard much information about player availability yet, but head coach Dabo Swinney will likely update the public on players who won’t be participating or will be limited early next week.

Clemson will have two new position coaches this season. Matt Luke will be taking over the offensive line and Chris Rumph returns to the staff to take over the defensive ends. Both coaches have a tough task ahead of them. Luke will have the responsibility to revamp an offensive line that has been a liability at times over the past three seasons. Rumph is replacing both starting ends from 2023.

This will be Garrett Riley’s second season with the program, and the expectation is that he should be able to install and run more of the offense that he ran at both SMU and TCU in recent years.

Quarterback Cade Klubnik enters his junior season as the second-year starter at quarterback. He will have both Antonio Williams and Tyler Brown back at wide receiver, as well as some talented freshmen.

Most importantly, running back Phil Mafah returns for his senior season and is poised for a breakout year as the feature back for the Tigers.

Another position fans will want to see is kicker, where freshman Nolan Hauser will be taking over kicking duties.
