EA Sports designed Clemson Football as a Top 10 program in College Football 25

Top 10 Team Power Rankings
Had they released this first before the offense and defense, I would not expect Clemson to be in the Top 10. Knowing that the offense did slip in at No. 10, it did make sense they would be included, but where?
No. 6 overall. A rating of 90. That’s pretty good.
Again, I feel like this is fueled by an ‘on paper’ type of algorithm. If anything, highlights why Clemson should exceed expectations this season. They appear to have the resources necessary to pull it off.
I was a guest on a Georgia podcast the other day, and the hosts commented that they were surprised that I wasn’t more excited for the upcoming season for the Tigers. I have tried to stay objective about all the moving parts for Clemson this offseason.
I suspect that all it will take for me to lose my objectivity is to lead Clemson to a national championship in the game before the season starts.
You can find a deeper list of all the teams mentioned on these lists here at the EA Sports College Football 25 website. The game releases on July 19th and includes a significant number of college football players who have agreed to modest NIL deals for their inclusion.
