Clemson Women’s Golf is in third place at the NCAA Championships

Clemson Women’s Golf sits in 3rd place after two rounds of stroke play at the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, California. The team shot a combined +5 in Round 2. They sit at -3 for the tournament.

Texas A&M leads with a -11, with Stanford in 2ndplace at -6. Clemson is followed by UCLA, Auburn, and LSU. Those six programs are the only ones under par for the tournament.

After today’s round, the 30-team field will be cut to 15 teams. After the fourth and final round of stroke play, the top eight squads will advance to a bracketed knockout tournament.

Clemson Softball is eliminated from the postseason

Clemson Softball earned a victory against USC Upstate to eliminate the Spartans from the Tuscaloosa Regional and battled through a lengthy lightning delay to finish the game. This advanced them to a rematch with Southeastern Louisiana, who lost to the Crimson Tide earlier in the day.

The Tigers battled but couldn’t overcome the Lions, losing 6-2. This second loss eliminated the Tigers from the regional, and their season has now concluded.

It is difficult to put a finger on exactly what went wrong for Clemson this season, but illness and injuries had an impact. The pitching staff had a good season, but the Tigers were challenged to generate hits in clutch situations, leaving quite a few runners stranded on base during the season.

They finished 35-19 for the year, with a 15-9 record in the ACC.

Clemson Baseball sweeps Boston College

Clemson Baseball got a 10-0 run-rule victory over Boston College on Saturday. The win gave the Tigers the sweep of the Eagles and gave them 20 wins in conference play.

Clemson secured the ACC Atlantic Division title on Friday, which earns them the 2-seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament. The Tigers will play in Pool B along with No. 7 Louisville and No. 11 Miami.

We also learned a bit about Clemson’s 2025 baseball schedule. The Tigers will participate in the Shriners Children's College Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas to open next season.

Clemson will be in a group with Arizona, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and Texas. Matchups and schedules have not been announced.
