Clemson Men's Basketball is still looking at transfer candidates
Duke transfer center Christian Reeves has included Clemson Men’s Basketball in his Top 4 schools for his next destination.
Reeves is also considering Florida, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt (which will all play in the SEC next year). He was a 3-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite coming out of high school. He stands at 7’-1”.
Hootie Ingram passes away at 90
Former Clemson Football coach Hootie Ingram passed away on Monday at the age of 90. Ingram succeeded Frank Howard as the coach of the Tigers from 1970-72. He spent the latter part of his career as an administrator, leading Florida State through its football program’s largest period of growth during the 1980s.
While his tenure as the head coach was short, Ingram’s most lasting legacy for Clemson was the introduction of The Paw as the school’s sports logo.
Other news and notes from around Clemson Athletics:
Clemson Baseball takes on Charlotte tonight at Truist Field (officially a neutral site). The Tigers ascended to No. 2 in the D1Baseball rankings.
This might come as a surprise considering the disappointment of Friday evening’s collapse against Georgia Tech, but the reality is that the Tigers won the series and are still playing strong relative to the other top programs. Tennessee is currently No. 1 in the rankings.
