By John Chancey
Clemson has another big weekend planned for athletics. Here is what is on the schedule.
Clemson Men’s Basketball will be visiting Wake Forest on Saturday at 6:00 PM in the Tigers’ final game of the regular season. Rubbing The Rock will have a preview of the game tomorrow morning.
Clemson Baseball
The Tigers will be hosting UNC Greensboro this weekend for a 3-game series. The opener this evening has been moved up to 2:00 PM due to the weather. The games on Saturday and Sunday will also start at 2:00 PM at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
The Tigers are expected to pitch Austin Gordon, Tristan Smith, and Aidan Knaak in the series. Billy Barlow started in Clemson’s mid-week victory over Kansas State.
Clemson Softball
The Tigers are hosting the Tiger Invitational this weekend at McWhorter Stadium. Following their close loss to Tennessee in the mid-week, Clemson tripped up again Thursday evening against Minnesota in the first game of a doubleheader.
Just like their doubleheader against NC State last Saturday, the Tigers bounced back to win the second game against the Golden Gophers last night. They play Mercer today at 5:00 PM and will face Longwood on Saturday and Fordham on Sunday.
Clemson Gymnastics
The Tigers have had a very successful first season but their final home match of the year will be tonight at 7:00 PM at Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson will celebrate Military Appreciation Day as they host the Air Force Falcons. It will also be Senior Day.
