Clemson Tigers News: Walker Parks, Cam Cannarella, Rocco Reid

Clemson Football updates injury list
The Clemson Football staff met with the press yesterday to kick off the new 2024 season.
I will have plenty of takes based on the information presented during the conference, which included most of the main staff.
We always want to know more about injuries that could impact player participation in fall camp.
According to Dabo Swinney, the only player who won’t be participating at the start of camp will be cornerback Myles Oliver.
This is good news, as injuries have been a nuisance for this team over the past five seasons. Several players were held out of spring practices to recover and prepare for the fall.
Another player asked about was Walker Parks, who missed much of the 2024 season with a leg injury. Matt Luke offered this update:
"He is doing well. That was a tough one just because I did not get him in the bowl game or spring practice, but right now, he looks as good as he has looked since I have been here. He is full-speed running and he is full-speed in the weight room. It will probably be five or six practices in before we really know more."

He is doing well. That was a tough one just because I did not get him in the bowl game or spring practice, but right now, he looks as good as he has looked since I have been here. He is full-speed running and he is full-speed in the weight room. It will probably be five or six practices in before we really know more.
This does not mean we won’t see guys in yellow or green jerseys that will be somewhat limited during practices, but on the whole this is a good injury report.
Other news and notes from around Clemson athletics:
2025 prospect Kruz McClure has announced a scholarship offer from Clemson Men’s Basketball.
McClure is a 6’-5” shooting guard from Westerville South High School near Columbus, Ohio.
Clemson Baseball star Cam Cannarella was injured early in the 2024 season. He played through the pain to help the Tigers win a Regional and host a Super Regional.
Cannarella has surgery this week to repair the lingering injury and posted this picture to X from his hospital room.
A thumbs up is a good sign.
The Major League Baseball Draft finished yesterday with only one more Tiger selected. Rocco Reid was picked in the 15th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Clemson Baseball prospects Talan Bell and Dane Moehler were not selected, so they will be with the Tigers in 2025.
Clemson Women’s Soccer alum Makenna Morris got her first start this week for the Washington Spirit and she provided a highlight.
