Clemson Men’s Tennis 7, Radford Highlanders 0: The Tigers swept Radford at home in the first match of a double-header.

Clemson Baseball 14, Xavier Musketeers 3: Note for the future - if you want to start your baseball season in style, hit two grand slams on opening day. It's particularly sweet if one of them comes from a freshman you haven't heard of.

That is how Clemson Baseball started their season opening series against Xavier. Alden Mathes tallied a grand slam in his first at bat in the 1st inning, and then freshman Nolan Nawrocki tallied his in the 4th. Cooper Blauser blasted a single-run shot in the 3rd as well.

Clemson Men’s Tennis 6, Georgia Southern Eagles 1: The Tigers secure their second victory of the day against the Eagles.

"It feels great to be back home. It feels great to play our first match outside because it is a really cool environment. It’s a night match with great fans and great energy all around. Today was just a really good step in the right direction for our group in terms of their competitive spirits. It is something we have been working on and trying to make better and better each match and today we took a step in the right direction with that. We are definitely happy to get another doubleheader win and play back at home."
