TJ Moore turns heads at the All-American Bowl
Incoming Clemson Football freshman TJ Moore received a lot of attention this past week at the All-American Bowl. He had 10 receptions for 166 yards, two touchdowns, and completed a pass.
On3 named him the MVP of the week.
A committee of 247Sports scouts and writers named Moore as the best route runner at the event.
""Moore raised eyebrows at check-in when he measured 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, displaying a physically imposing frame that reminded us of the star receivers Clemson used to have on the roster. A smooth mover with excellent suddenness and bounce, Moore found little to no issues creating consistent separation against some of the nation's best during practices. Whether it was in 1-on-1s or team periods, the Florida native was more times than not one of the best players on the field. With his size, athleticism, and natural route-running ability, it’s fair to say that Moore should be expected to contribute early for a team in desperate need of some playmakers on offense.""
- Cooper Petagna, 247Sports
The comparable I see for Moore is Mike Williams, and it is the size that Petagna mentions that makes me think of the wide receiver for the Los Angeles Chargers. Moore has the height and skill of guys like Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross, but also the physical nature that Williams displayed during his Clemson career.
Barrett Carter is named to the All-Bowl Team
Clemson Football linebacker Barrett Carter was named to the AP’s All-Bowl team this week for his performance against Kentucky in the Gator Bowl.
Carter recorded takeaways on consecutive Wildcat snaps, becoming the second Clemson player to do so this season following Khalil Barnes against South Carolina.
Clemson Football Class of 2025 running back Gideon Davidson has been selected to represent the Washington Commanders in the NFL’s Next Ones event during Super Bowl Weekend.
Davidson is currently the highest-rated player in Clemson’s 2025 class.
