Dabo Swinney updates availability for spring
Head coach Dabo Swinney met with the press yesterday and updated the Tigers’ availability report for this spring.
Jeadyn Lukus, Watson Young, Sherrod Covil, Armon Mason, and Noble Johnson will not participate in spring practices due to injuries. Walker Parks and Corian Gipson will not be active participants in practice but will probably get some one-on-one work to assist with their recoveries.
Swinney confirmed that Demonte Capehart will be a full participant, and the team confirmed that Johnson is being held out because of injury, not because of off-the-field concerns.
Swinney says Vic Burley, Ronan Hanafin, and Brandon Strozier are working their way back from injury, which means they will not be available to start the spring but should become involved before the spring game. Whether that means full participation or limited participation, time will tell.
Tyler Brown had foot surgery and is participating on a limited basis with a yellow jersey. Hopefully, he will be a full go before the end of spring.
Clemson Football allowed observers for their first practice
Due to weather, the first spring session was indoors and the press was allowed to observe.
Adam Randall probably gave us the highlight of the day with this one-handed reception.
A positive note on the availability front is that Cole Turner is a full participant this spring.
