Clemson Tigers News: Softball, Sydni Means, Myles Foster

Clemson Softball selected for NCAA Tournament, will be a 2-seed at Alabama
Clemson Softball has qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the 4th year in a row.
The Tigers will be the 2-seed in the Tuscaloosa Regional.
Clemson will play Southeastern Louisiana in the first game, scheduled for Friday at 2:00 PM.
The host, Alabama, will play USC Upstate on Friday.
Clemson Women's Basketball adds another coach
Clemson Women’s Basketball head coach Shawn Poppie has added another member to his coaching staff for the 2024-25 season. Sydni Means will be an assistant coach for the Tigers this upcoming season.
Means spent the last three seasons at Tulsa as an assistant coach. She played at Mercer and won three Southern Conference regular season championships.

Clemson Men’s Basketball to host another transfer target
Brad Brownell isn’t done yet with acquiring more talent. This time he will be meeting with Myles Foster, a guard who is transferring from Illinois State.
Foster is 6’-7” and 235 pounds. He is from Brooklyn, New York. 247Sports lists him as a power forward.

Clemson Baseball was swept this weekend by Wake Forest. It is the first time this season the Tigers have been swept and only the second time they lost a weekend series. Clemson will play a road midweek game at Coastal Carolina on Tuesday and then finish their regular season with a home weekend series against Boston College.
Clemson Track & Field concluded the ACC Outdoor Championships on Saturday. The Women's team placed second in the conference.
The Men's team placed sixth.
