Clemson Softball still ranked high following first two losses
Clemson Softball certainly hoped they wouldn’t have the first two losses of the season before they began their first home stand of the season, but that’s the way things worked out. The Tigers dropped the final games in both Florida and Mexico.
They still played some good softball and the losses didn’t hurt them too badly in the rankings. The Tigers are still in the Top 10 of four major softball polls.
One prognosticator still predicts Clemson Football to win the ACC
While Clemson Football has taken a step backwards in several 'way to early' rankings due to a lack of activity in the transfer portal, Sirius XM College host Barrett Sallee continues to put Clemson in his CFP predictions for 2024.
It is worth noting that Sallee isn't ranking Clemson 3rd overall in his way to early rankings. He is saying that he believes Clemson will win the ACC and that among the top 5 conference champions, he believes Clemson will be the third team to get a bye in the first round.
Sallee is one of the few prognosticators who haven't moved Florida State ahead of Clemson in their predictions.
Congratulations to Imari Berry, who became the leading scorer at her high school on her way to becoming a Clemson Tiger.
