New Crystal Ball for Clemson from Steve Wiltfong

Clemson Football continues to see momentum from their Elite Retreat event this past weekend. Three prospects have announced verbal commitments to the Tigers since Sunday. Clemson now sits at No. 2 on 247Sports’ class rankings.

The latest news comes from a new Crystal Ball projection on 247 in favor of Clemson. It was placed for Chauncey Gooden.

Gooden is a 4-star interior offensive line prospect from Nashville, Tennessee. He plays at Lipscomb Academy. He is ranked 225th nationally in the 247Sports Composite.

The projection was logged by Steve Wiltfong, who has a good track record and typically doesn’t place a Crystal Ball without some sort of intel.

Clemson Baseball earns more preseason recognition

Baseball season is right around the corner, and that means the preseason polls are here. Clemson was ranked in the top ten of the D1Baseball rankings a couple of weeks ago, which came as a surprise to some.

That ranking has been reaffirmed by Baseball America, which has Clemson Baseball ranked No. 9 in their preseason poll.

D1Baseball has released their preseason All-American team, and Clemson’s Cam Cannarella is a first-team outfielder.

Clemson Women's Lacrosse earns Top 25 preseason ranking too

Clemson Women’s Lacrosse is just playing their second season in 2024, but the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) already has them ranked in their preseason poll.
