By John Chancey
Clemson Men’s Basketball
The Tigers tip-off at 3:10 PM in Memphis, Tennessee. They are the 6-seed in the West Region and taking on the 11-seed New Mexico. The Lobos continue to be a 2.5-point favorite. FanDuel has the over/under set at 151.5 points.
If the Tigers win today, they will play the winner of Baylor and Colgate on Sunday.
Clemson Softball
The Tigers will look to rebound following their hard-fought battle in the midweek against the South Carolina Gamecocks. The game went to extra innings before the Gamecocks earned their first win in series history against Clemson.
John Rittman’s squad will now travel to Charlottesville, Virginia to face the Cavaliers in a 3-game series. Nasty weather is expected. Tonight’s game has been moved up to 5:00 PM to avoid the rain.
The big story for the Tigers is the health of Valerie Cagle, who has been fighting an illness.
Clemson Baseball
The Tigers won both midweek games by double-digit margins and will now play a monster series at home against the Florida State Seminoles. FSU is undefeated on the season and looking to take charge of the ACC following a rough 2023 campaign.
Clemson is in good form right now and looking to hold off the Seminole’s advance. They are expected to hold to their current rotation.
The schedule has been shifted, however, due to the forecasted weather in Clemson. Aaron Gordon will get his start Saturday at 1:00 PM, and then Tristan Smith will pitch the second game of a doubleheader.
Clemson Gymnastics
It’s been a fun first season for Gymnastics. Saturday they will participate in the ACC Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Tigers are the 2-seed in the match. The event starts at 7:00 PM on ACC Network.

Clemson Women’s Lacrosse will host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at the Clemson Lacrosse Complex tonight at 7:00 PM. They will then host Queens (Charlotte) on Sunday at 1:00 PM.
