Shawn Poppie signs another transfer guard
Clemson Women’s Basketball has been roster-building quickly over the past couple of weeks. Yesterday they announced another signing.
Loyal McQueen played most recently at Alabama, but she is a native of Florence, South Carolina. She was the 2020 Gatorade South Carolina Girls Player of the Year.
McQueen began her collegiate career at Georgia Tech before transferring to the Crimson Tide, where she started 35 games.
Poppie’s transfer signings so far have been focused on guards, including Hannah Kohn, who was announced yesterday. She comes from Poppie’s previous program, UT Chattanooga.
Clemson Women’s Golf is headed to the NCAA Division I Golf Championships
Clemson Women’s Golf finished as runners-up in the ACC Championship when weather forced their final match against Wake Forest to end before completion. They will now get a chance to prove themselves again.
The Tigers have been invited to the NCAA Regional in Bryan, Texas. It is the eighth season in a row that they have qualified for the NCAA Championship.
The regional is hosted at The Traditions Club at Texas A&M. Twelve programs will compete through 54 holes of stroke play. The top five teams will advance to the NCAA National Championship Tournament.
Clemson Football targets are making announcements
Clemson Football 2025 target Mal Waldrep has teased on X that he will make an announcement this Friday.
This could be an announcement of a list of top schools, of which Clemson would be included. It could be about the timing of his eventual verbal commitment, which would likely come this summer following official visits.
Another prospect, defensive end Chinedu Onyeagoro, announced a Top 10 that included Clemson Football.
