Scoreboard
Clemson Baseball 12, USC Upstate 6: Will Taylor was having a tough start to the 2024 season, so he moved down in the batting order a bit to readjust. It was apparently the exact right fix.
Taylor cranked three home runs last night against the Spartans to drive Clemson to the mid-week victory. He becomes the 16th player in program history to have a hat trick of home runs.
The Tigers will face Upstate again in April at Fluor Field in Greenville. Clemson begins the annual series with South Carolina this Friday at Founders Park in Columbia, South Carolina.
Clemson Men’s Basketball 69, Pittsburgh 62: The Tigers pull into a tie for fourth place in the ACC standings. Read the recap here.
The Tigers hold strong at 23rd in the NET rankings. They control their destiny for an ACC double-bye, but they basically need to run the table unless Wake Forest drops any more unexpected contests.
The next test for Clemson will be a road trip to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this Saturday, March 2nd.
