Early projections favor Georgia over Clemson Football in 2024

We are beginning to see some early odds being laid on 2024 football matchups, and one source has Georgia as a 12.5-point favorite over Clemson Football.

The Tigers will face the Bulldogs in the first game of the 2024 season. They will play in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

The obvious advantage for Georgia is their defensive front, which will return most if not all the key players from 2023. On the other hand, Clemson has brought in a new offensive line coach (Matt Luke) who will be tasked with rebuilding a unit that never came together under his predecessor.

A Clemson Football transfer will join the Gamecocks....of Jacksonville State

Clemson Football transfer Brannon Spector has announced that he will finish his career playing for Rich Rodriguez at Jacksonville State.

The ‘other’ Gamecocks just finished their first season in the FBS with a bowl victory over Louisiana.

Clemson Men’s Basketball player PJ Hall has been named to the John R. Wooden Award midseason watchlist.

Two Clemson Women’s Basketball commits have been nominated for the McDonald’s All-American Game.

Imari Berry and Morgan Miller will both join the squad for the 2024-25 season.

Clemson Men’s Soccer alum Papa Mar Boye has signed with Phoenix Rising FC.

Phoenix plays in the USL Championship, which is one level below Major League Soccer. They are coming off a win against the Charleston Battery in the league championship game that was decided by a shootout.

As noted last night, Alabama’s Nick Saban is reportedly retiring, and Dan Lanning was the leading candidate to take over in Tuscaloosa. This comes after years of speculation that Dabo Swinney would be a leading candidate because of his status as a Tide alum.

We now know Dan Lanning will not be the next head coach of the Tide.

We will all be standing by to see who the next name will be.
