Clemson Softball fills a hole on its staff
Clemson Softball recently lost a member of their staff when she was hired as a head coach of another program, leaving a spot open for a new hire.
The Tigers have announced that they have hired Katie ‘Crash’ Repole as their new assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.
Repole is a graduate of Louisiana and previously coached at South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Virginia. She has a proven track record as a recruiter from both high school ranks and the transfer portal.
Other news and notes from around Clemson athletics:
The judge presiding in North Carolina over the ACC’s lawsuit against Clemson has declined the school’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit based on grounds of sovereign immunity, which means the case will continue.
This means that both Clemson and Florida State will be involved with lawsuits against the ACC in their home states while simultaneously being involved with lawsuits from the ACC in North Carolina.
Here is a breakdown of Clemson Men’s Basketball numbers for this upcoming season. Chauncey Wiggins is changing numbers, which will allow Ace Buckner to wear the number his father, Greg, wore when he played for the Tigers.
