Antonio Williams injury update

The news is relatively good on the injury status of Clemson Football wide receiver Antonio Williams, who practiced with no restrictions on Wednesday. He spoke with David Hood from TigerNet yesterday.

"“I mean, I’m healthier than I was two weeks ago. I'm not going to say I'm 100%, but there's no excuse -- I'm going to be out there. I'm good enough to be out here and play.”"

Williams is listed as a co-starter with Tyler Brown as the slot receiver for the Gator Bowl on Friday. I am curious to see if they get Williams and Brown on the field at the same time, but I also wonder if Williams could be on a ‘snap count’. It would be great to have him play in the bowl, but also pointless to risk further injury if he isn’t completely ready.

RJ Mickens explains return to Clemson Football in 2024

RJ Mickens also spoke with the press and mentioned reasons he decided to return to Clemson for the 2024 season.

Mickens will be the veteran leader of the defensive backfield next season for the Tigers.

The Polynesian Bowl is a high school all-star game played in Hawaii. It is sponsored by the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame, which honors players, coaches, and other contributors to football who are of Polynesian descent.
