Clemson Women’s Lacrosse has picked up a big commitment
Alexa Spallina announced that she will be playing for the Clemson Women's Lacrosse next season.
Spallina is the No. 1 overall 2025 prospect as rated by Inside Lacrosse. She is from Mount Sinai, New York.
She recently decommitted from the Syracuse Orange.
According to Inside Lacrosse, Clemson now has commitments from the No. 1 and No. 2 players in the Class of 2025. Emma Penczek, a left-handed midfielder from Manchester Valley High School in Manchester, Maryland, committed to the Tigers last September.

Clemson’s next class also includes Tessa DeLuca, a 5-star goalie from Maryvale Prep School in Lutherville, Maryland.
The Tigers were 11-7 overall and 3-7 in the Atlantic Coast Conference in the second season of the program. Head coach Allison Kwolek is doing an excellent job of attracting young talent to the program.
Joe Girard inks NBA Summer League deal
Clemson Men’s Basketball alum Joe Girard III will play in the NBA Summer League with the Toronto Raptors.

Girard played the most minutes per game for the Tigers in 2023-24 with 32.9, just ahead of Chase Hunter with 32.8. Girard averaged 15.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. He shot 31.5% from 3-point range.

Barlow made fifteen appearances this season for the Tigers with ten starts. He was 6-1 and had a 4.28 ERA.
This is the second offseason in a row that a former Tiger has transferred to a program that defeated Clemson in the postseason. Last year, Billy Amick transferred to Tennessee.
