Jaylan Beckley decommits from Clemson Football

The Tigers lost one of their verbal commitments from the Class of 2025 on Friday evening. Jaylan Beckley, an offensive lineman from Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas, announced that he was re-opening his recruitment.

Beckley was one of three offensive linemen in Clemson’s 2025 class, along with Easton Ware and Brayden Jacobs. He is a 3-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. Beckley originally committed to offensive line coach Matt Luke right after the Elite Retreat in January.

David Sanders announces his list of top schools today

David Sanders, one of the highest-rated recruits in the nation, dropped this post on X yesterday.

Sanders plays for Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is the highest-rated offensive lineman in the 247Sports Composite. I would expect the Tigers to make the cut.

Vernell Brown III is a Top 150 wide receiver prospect from Orlando, Florida. He has trimmed his list to eleven schools and included Clemson in the mix.

Clemson’s next important recruiting date is March 9th. We are beginning to learn about some of the names who will be in attendance.

Kaleb Lanier is a 2025 3-star cornerback from Decatur, Georgia. Jason Priester of All Clemson Tigers confirmed his attendance on X.

Anna Adams of 247 has confirmed several 2026 names that will be in attendance.

The official visit weekend at the end of May is beginning to add names to the attendee list as well. Safety prospect Anquon Fegins told Steve Wiltfong from 247 that he had locked in his official visit with Clemson.

Players who are verbally committed usually attend for official visits at that point as well. Wide receiver commitment Carleton Preston has announced that he will be in attendance.

Cornerback Tae Harris, who recently decommitted from Georgia, has announced his attendance on May 31st.

Athlete prospect Jordan Young will be at Clemson for his official visit that weekend as well.
