Clemson Football Recruiting: David Sanders, Bryce Davis, Rowan Byrne, Donovan Starr

We are approaching the end of May, which means one thing for Clemson Football: they are about to host their primary recruiting targets for official visits.

Clemson Football is closing in on its Official Visit Weekend when they will try to convince their primary targets in recruiting to give the Tigers a verbal commitment.

Here are some of the players who have been publicly confirmed to be in attendance. Two are very highly rated prospects from North Carolina that Clemson has been recruiting for a long time, while the other two are more recent targets that the Tigers have focused on.

David Sanders

Austin Hannon from 247Sports has confirmed Sanders’s plans to be in Clemson.

Sanders is a 5-star prospect from Charlotte, North Carolina. He is ranked second overall in the 247Sports Composite. He is 6’-6” and weighs in at 270. He is listed as an offensive tackle prospect.

Sanders has already had two official visits and plans to take more after his trip to Clemson. He is one of the most sought-after prospects in the Class of 2025. Georgia and Tennessee are thought to be high on his list, but he has also been fond of the Tigers through his recruitment process.

Bryce Davis

Jason Priester of The Clemson Insider confirmed that Davis will be taking an official visit to Clemson. Davis is a defensive lineman at Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite ranked 51st in the nation regardless of position.

Davis has announced his final three as Clemson, Duke, and Georgia. He plans to reveal his verbal commitment on July 20th.

Rowan Byrne

Byrne posted on his X account that he will be attending.

Byrne is a 3-star offensive tackle prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is from New Rochelle, New York, and attends Iona Preparatory School. He stands at 6’-6” and weighs 297 pounds.

Byrne has 25 FBS scholarship offers. Clemson is primarily competing with Florida State, Michigan State, and Penn State.

Donovan Starr

Hannon also confirmed Starr will be in Clemson next weekend.

Starr is a 3-star cornerback prospect from Brentwood, Tennessee. He is 6’-0” and 175 pounds. He has 27 FBS offers. Starr also runs track for Ravenwood High School.
