Clemson Football has been in spring practice for a few months now, but it concluded last weekend with the Orange vs White Spring game. Now that spring is over, the 2024 NFL Draft is just around the corner for some popular Tigers who are starting their pro careers.

The draft will begin on Thursday, April 25th at 8:00 PM Eastern with the full first round. The second and third rounds will begin on Friday, April 26th at 7:00 PM. The final four rounds will start on Saturday, April 27th at noon.

Teams are allowed ten minutes to make their selections in the first round. They have seven minutes in the second round, and five minutes in rounds three through six. There is a four-minute time limit in the final round.

The draft will be held live from Detroit, Michigan this year. The events will be at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit. Early forecasts call for comfortable temperatures but a chance of rain.

NFL Network, ABC, ESPN, and ESPN Deportes will all be covering the draft this season. Radio broadcasts will be available from ESPN Radio, Sirius XM Radio, and Westwood One Sports.

The Chicago Bears hold the first pick overall and are likely to draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams. The Bears traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason.

Clemson Football is likely to see six players drafted. Cornerback Nate Wiggins has a chance to be a Day 1 pick, but most likely will be drafted on Day 2, along with defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro. Running back Will Shipley, linebacker Jeremiah Trotter, defensive end Xavier Thomas and defensive tackle Tyler Davis will also be in contention for a Day 2 or 3 pick.

Center Will Putnam, safety Jalyn Phillips, and cornerback Sheridan Jones are also available, but most projections suggest they will be available to sign as free agents after the draft.
