Clemson Football received a big verbal commitment today from one of the 2025 prospects who completed an official visit over the weekend.

Grayson Littleton has announced his commitment to Mike Reed and the Tigers.

Littleton is a 4-star cornerback prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He plays at Wiregrass Ranch High School in Tampa, Florida.

He is 6’-0” and 180 pounds. He ranks 152nd nationally in the Composite regardless of position.

Littleton announced a Top 10 in April that did not include the Tigers but was presumably offered soon after when he visited Clemson unofficially on April 28th.

He held 40 offers from FBS programs. 247 suggested Alabama, Iowa, and Oklahoma were the schools he was also considering.

247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins gives this scouting report on Littleton.

"Ascending cornerback prospect with the ideal mix of size and speed. Put himself on the national radar spring before senior season, clocking a laser-timed 4.51 effort in the 40-yard dash at an Under Armour Next Camp outside of Orlando. Comfortable at this stage in press-man coverage as he fights for leverage and does his best to maintain phase while out on the perimeter. Not a ton of ball production to date (only had one interception as a junior), but is competitive when the football is in the air and will do his best to shade throwing lanes. Tries to get off blocks and will use his turbo to get across the field and make tackles in pursuit. Should be viewed as a potential multi-year starter at the Power Four level and a possible all-conference selection if he can keep progressing. Likely to find the most success in a defensive scheme that wants to man-up on the outside and get aggressive, but could also always get a look over the top with his range."

Littleton becomes the 12th commitment in Clemson’s Class of 2025, which was already ranked sixth in the nation by 247. His addition boosted Clemson into 3rd place in their team Composite rankings. Littleton is the first cornerback commitment in the group. He is the second defensive back behind safety Tae Harris.
