After a dominant week two performance, not much happened in week three, with Louisville, Clemson, SMU, Syracuse, and Stanford on a bye. Nothing else happened except Florida State completely fell off of a cliff.

The Seminoles were predicted to be the best team in the ACC but have steadily declined since losing its first game against Georgia Tech. But it was the first game, played halfway across the world in Ireland, so they were given some slack. Then FSU lost its second game against Boston College.

The loss caused the Seminoles to drop a little farther in the rankings, but hey, BC looks like a much better team than anyone thought, and FSU could've still won the ACC in the right conditions. And with a 12-team College Football Playoff, they might've had a chance to steal a spot. But now, all the excuses have run out.

Florida State lost to Memphis 20-12 on Saturday. It's time to call a spade a spade. FSU is one of the worst teams in the ACC. DJ Uiagalelei threw for 201 yards at a 53.3 percent clip. The running game isn't much better, with the Noles recording only 156 yards through three games. The offense is in shambles.

If you're wondering why this post is heavily about FSU, it's because Florida State is the only team to move this week, falling from No. 6 to No. 12.
