Week one of college football was everything fans hoped for and more. From multiple one-handed grabs to Vanderbilt shocking ACC dark horse Virginia Tech, the first official week of the football season was a hit.

Of course, if week zero had College Football Playoff implications, then this week was bound to have a few crucial games that changed the playoff picture. However, most teams took care of business. Five teams in the current rankings won their games by 45 points or more, and another five won by at least two scores.

Only one of the teams from last week's prediction lost, and it happened to be the only game of the week consisting of two CFP teams. Clemson was torn apart by No. 1 Georgia and subsequently booted out of the playoff picture.

After week one, here’s how our 12-team playoff prediction:

After Clemson dropped out, Miami took its spot as the predicted ACC championship. The ACC has had a new team at the top of the conference every week, but that should all stop with Miami. After their dominant performance against Florida, Mario Cristobal seems to have the Hurricanes on a different level than the other teams in the ACC.

The only other major change is that Oregon dropped three spots to the tenth seed. The Ducks struggled to get their offense going against Idaho, and for a team known for its explosive play on that side of the ball, they have definitely sown some doubts heading into the Big 10.
