PJ Hall has been sorely missed by Clemson basketball fans, but it looks like they won't have to abandon watching him altogether.
Following an impressive Summer League showing, Hall has earned himself an NBA contract. Unfortunately for a lot of Clemson fans, he's not staying with the Charlotte Hornets where he's been playing during the Summer League, he's headed to Memphis.
On Sunday, just ahead of the NBA Summer League title game that Hall is set to partake in, the Grizzlies announced the two-way signing of the former Clemson star.
PJ Hall has signed a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies following his great showing at Summer League, per @ShamsCharania.

For those who have been following the Summer League to this point, this move isn't all that shocking, but it's rather surprising the Hornets didn't ink him to a deal. He was playing well with the Hornets and seemed to get better every single game and provided a spark off the bench.
Hall's last performance before the signing may have been his best. He went 5-for-5 from the floor for 12 points to go along with eight rebounds, two assists, and a block.
Clemson fans were hoping for some good news following NBA Summer League play from at least one former player, and many expected it to be Viktor Lakhin. Unfortunately, he went undrafted after suffering an injury back in May that is expected to keep him off the floor for three months. He's going to have to battle to earn a spot in the G-League.
At least Hall did what many expected Lakhin to do and broke out in Summer League play, doing a little of everything off the bench and helping to lead the Hornets to the title game.
Memphis has some new fans from South Carolina now.
