SEC Media Days are taking place this week and Clemson's Week 1 opponent, LSU, has already been talking about that matchup in Death Valley in a little over a month.

Brian Kelly has spoken about the matchup with the media and he even went as far as saying that the real "Death Valley" is in Baton Rouge and that LSU is just letting Clemson borrow the moniker.

While Kelly was half-joking when he said this, it didn't seem to sit well with some Clemson fans and even some players took note of the quotes.

Peter Woods was one of the guys who pocketed the bulletin board material.

Woods obviously took exception to Kelly saying that LSU has the Death Valley, retweeting the quote from the Tigers' head coach on Monday. Those are the types of quotes that can get fans to show up and be even more raucous than normal because Kelly believes that he has the better homefield advantage -- he'll find out soon enough that's not entirely true.

Dabo Swinney heard the quotes and has even said that bulletin board material can't make plays on the field so he's going to worry about what he can control.

As for the players, this kind of stuff can fuel them. Hearing an opposing coach say that the real Death Valley is in Baton Rouge just doesn't sit well with guys like Woods or TJ Parker or Cade Klubnik who came to Clemson to win games like these and contend for national championships. Plus, Clemson had the nickname "Death Valley" about a decade before LSU.

In about six weeks, we're really going to find out where the real Death Valley is.
