One expert doesn't believe Clemson is a top 10 job in college football

Is Clemson one of the best jobs in college football?

Many would argue it's the best job in the ACC ahead of Florida State and Miami, but there are some college football experts who wouldn't even rank it in the top 10 in the country.

It's an interesting concept. Does Clemson have the resources, facilities, NIL opportunities, fan support, and history to be considered one of the top jobs in the country? The answer to that is an overwhelming "yes". The Tigers have everything needed to compete at the highest level and that, along with his coaching prowess, is why Dabo Swinney has been so successful for so long.

Clemson has to be considered one of the best jobs in the country and it's really not a debate.

That is until you read what college football experts believe are the 10 best jobs in the country. Andy Staples and Ari Wasserman of On3 released their top 10 college football jobs on Wednesday and one of them included Clemson (Staples) while the other completely omitted them (Wasserman).

It's hard to argue a top three being Texas, Georgia, and Ohio State in pretty much any order, but after that, it feels like anyone could be 4-10. Oregon has Nike money, plenty of resources, and beautiful facilities so that makes sense as a consensus No. 4. After that, it's some combination of Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, and LSU with a couple of wild cards thrown in.

A safe and easy choice would be Clemson, but Wasserman completely overlooked the Tigers in favor of Texas A&M and Oklahoma. I think Texas A&M is a fair pick because of the money there but Oklahoma hasn't been that great of a job since Lincoln Riley left. It feels like the program is struggling to keep up.

Ranking Oklahoma over Clemson should be a crime.

Is Clemson a top-five job in college football? Maybe not right now, but it's flirting with that range. It's definitely top 10 and someone needs to tell Wasserman because he's severely mistaken.
