"Just time and putting the work in," Luke stated, cutting straight to the chase. "There's no secret, there's no shortcut, there's no magic. It's just putting the time in, the work in, spending time together this summer."
Luke acknowledged the spring practices were a crucial "first step," especially seeing running backs like Adam get valuable game snaps against Texas. "That's a big deal. He went out there in a game and he did it. And then you get the 15 practices in the spring and then you've got fall camp to keep building that cohesion."
The coach confirmed he's already seeing positive signs. "Absolutely. I mean, just you see the growth and development." For Luke, the collective experience of his veteran offensive linemen not only makes them better but also elevates the performance of newer players.
