Any player that has come through the Clemson football program under Dabo Swinney throughout the years has always echoed the same sentiment: this place is special.
The program has a culture that is unlike any other in college football and it sets Clemson apart from the rest of the schools for a lot of recruits.
One of those recruits happens to be Naeem Burroughs.
The four-star receiver commit picked Clemson back in March and just visited this past weekend with 30-plus other targets and he posted on X what sets the program and school apart. He shared what makes Clemson so special and why he chose to be a Tiger.
Swinney has embraced faith in his program and while not everyone on the team has to believe in the same thing nor do they even have to be religious, it's that freedom and availability of faith-based activities that draw so many recruits to the school. This type of faith-based recruiting resonates with a lot of top targets and it's why they eventually choose Clemson.
Burroughs is no different and he just reiterated what we all knew about the program.
Clemson is a special place that allows you to build your faith and follow whatever values and beliefs you have without judgement. Not all programs have that freedom.
While there have been no commitments (officially) so far after that massive first official visit weekend of the summer, you just know Dabo is working around the clock to fill up his class with quality prospects.
Let's hope more top targets buy into what Burroughs did.
