Mother Nature is trying her best to rain on the parade, but fans know a little weather can't dampen the excitement for night two of Morgan Wallen's Still The Problem Tour right here in Tigertown.
At 5:49 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2026, Clemson University Public Safety put the brakes on gate openings for the biggest show of the summer at Memorial Stadium—better known as Death Valley—thanks to a round of fierce thunderstorms rolling through the Upstate. Officials are telling fans to brace for heavy rain and whipping winds for at least the next hour.
The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Clemson was supposed to expire at 5:00 p.m., but with nasty weather still hanging around and another storm cell on the way, university officials had no choice but to keep the gates closed to keep everyone safe.
Official Statement from Clemson University Public Safety: "We are continuing to monitor storms in the area, which are expected to bring rain and high winds to the area over the next hour. An update on gate opening times will come shortly after the system passes. Seek shelter now, either in your vehicle or at one of our shelter locations."
Seek shelter now, either in your vehicle or at one of our shelter locations (Littlejohn Coliseum, Fike Recreation Center or Advanced Materials Innovation Complex.)

Stay tuned here for more updates.
Tens of thousands of country music fans have packed into Death Valley, ready for a star-studded night with Wallen, Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, and Jason Scott & The High Heat. But officials are making it crystal clear: don't crowd the gates, no matter how eager you are to get inside.
If you're anywhere near campus right now, the call is simple: get to shelter, and do it fast. Public safety is advising everyone to stay put in their cars with hazard lights flashing, or head straight to one of these official campus shelter spots:
- Littlejohn Coliseum
- Fike Recreation Center
- Advanced Materials Innovation Complex (AMIC)
This weather delay is a gut punch for fans who have been tailgating since the crack from dawn, with parking lots opening at 10:00 a.m. Night one of Wallen's Clemson takeover dodged the worst of the storms, however tonight, the skies opened up and caught everyone off guard.
You can feel the tension on social media, with fans lighting up X and begging to get inside Death Valley. Clemson safety keeps sending out shelter alerts, but soaked fans are firing back with desperate pleas like, "LET US IN." Still, campus officials are standing firm: with lightning and high winds in the area, it's just not safe to let anyone into the stadium until the storms clear.
