Dabo Swinney and Clemson football are chomping at the bit for the 2025 season to start.
It makes sense, Clemson has one of the best teams in college football which is fresh off a playoff berth and which returns the most production of any team in the Power Four. It makes sense that there's an overwhelming sense of excitement for the 2025 season.
Plus, everything that has happened this offseason seems to have benefitted the Tigers.
Ian Schieffelin decided to leave basketball and join the football team as an athletic 6-foot-8, 240-pound tight end, no key players entered the transfer portal, the Tigers landed three high-impact transfers who are already making waves, and the 2026 recruiting class is on fire.
Everything is coming up Dabo right now.
On Thursday, that excitement for the 2025 season grew even more as the ACC announced four of the Tigers' 12 regular-season kickoff times, including one that will be on a Friday night.
Clemson will open the season against LSU at 7:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 30 and we all knew that one was a night game on the first Saturday of the regular season already. That will be the most anticipated non-conference game in the ACC this year.
The following week will be Troy and the Tigers will welcome the Trojans to Memorial Stadium for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on the ACC Network. The next Saturday, Sept. 13, will be the Georgia Tech game in Atlanta. Clemson will head to Atlanta for a noon kickoff against the up-and-coming Yellow Jackets. And lastly, the Tigers will travel to Louisville on Friday, Nov. 14, for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff. That one should be really good.
All-in-all, the schedule is setting up nicely for a Clemson national title run.
